How the flip do I win Naval Battles in Napoleon.

Main Post:

They say your supposed to line your ships up with theirs but I always mess that up. I can't seem to find any videos on how to improve on it.

Top Comment: I had massive difficulty with them till I just started using the strat of forming a single line of ships and sailing them through the enemy. Don't bother trying to control the broadsides, too tedious. Just sail your ships straight through and curve around, trying to keep the wind favourable to you as you go.

CMV: A navy seal would beat a ufc fighter in a street fight

Main Post:

Navy seals are said to be one of the most well trained people in the world, able to get out of any situation. They are trained in a number of different fighting styles and can not only break your bones by sheer punching power but also from tackling you. They are forced to survive in harsh environments and in many cases have been face to face with death. I do agree that in the ring the navy seal would be at a disadvantage and probably loose the fight but in a street fight with no rules(and no equipment) roughly the same height and weight, the navy seal would most likely win.

Top Comment: I won't dispute that Navy SEALs are some of the toughest people on the planet, but think about the context of the fight. A UFC fighter trains to fight with no weapons or gear and that is it. They devote their entire life to fighting in the conditions you specified(especially the original UFC fighters when there were no rules). Navy SEALs have to train in(you can probably guess) SEa Air and Land. They have to train for stealth missions, shooting, interrogation, escaping underwater and a lot more. If it was a competition of who is more bad ass the Navy SEALs win hands down, but a UFC fighter trains for exactly what you described.

Navy SEAL versus MMA Fighter

Main Post:

Round 1: On a beach

Round 2: In an MMA Octagon

Round 3: Mid skydive

All bloodlusted, no weapons

Top Comment: Round 1: MMA fighter Round 2: MMA fighter Round 3: It's a toss up. The MMA fighter is skilled in hand to hand combat. That is exactly what their good at. A Navy Seal might be trained in melee combat but that isn't what they do as a career. It's the difference between a guy who's dabbled in it for a few months and a guy who does it professionally.

Why does Army play Navy after the AAC title game, and how does that work?

Main Post:

What if both Army and Navy were set to play in the title game? Would they just play each other again the next week for a rematch? Or would they cancel it?

Top Comment: It's an out-of-conference game, so it doesn't count for anything for the conference. In fact given the entire schedule and decisions, it actually doesn't count for anything other than the record book. This game is about as raw in exhibition as you'll find in the modern era.
